Yikes! I did not see this coming.

Pretty much, NO ONE ever thought that this would be coming down the pike.  I officially have to say, we are seeing Black Swan events for this Presidential campaign on both sides of the aisle: Trump and Sanders.  As to the former, one has to say that he has turned the Primary totally upside down and inside out (emphasis mine, reformatted):

According to the latest Rasmussen poll, 57 percent of likely Republican voters believe that Trump will not only stay in the race but will likely be the eventual Republican nominee.  But 42 percent of Republicans said that it’s not likely – 15 percent of which were positive that it wouldn’t happen.

Among all likely voters, 49 percent believe that Trump will be the Republican nominee. Two months ago, only 27 percent of Republicans believed Trump would win, according to Rasmussen.

YIKES!  The Establishment must be sucking down Maalox from an 18-wheeler tank truck.  They have  lost complete control of this race and by somebody that NO one saw coming (re: Black Swan).  The fact that tonite he just filled only half of a 40,000 person stadium in Mobile, Alabama will be discussed by their mouthpieces as a #FAIL (and there will be critics on both the Right and the Left that will say just that for the same reason in that they want to see him FAIL) – and will not give much consideration to the fact that he is the only Republican candidate that pulled 20,000 people to a rally.

Look, as I have already said, Trump is not my first pick.  You can be sure, however, that if he does become the nominee and given a choice between him or Hillary / Sanders, I will pull the lever for Trump.  That said, I do have some reservations that I would hold with any Biz person who rules their commercial empire the way that they want – how would they govern constitutionally.  However, that’s a far off time, politically, so I will set that aside.  For now, anyways.

These are serious numbers this early in the race for a complete outsider to have.  The Republican Party elite have good reasons to be very, very nervous.  First they get the TEA Party from the Right (and since I’ve always said that the TEA Party was trying to pull the Repubs back down to their roots, from the Bottom as well).  Now comes along the Donald – landing on them out of the blue from the Top.  They have no control right now and if it becomes known that behind the curtains that they are going to put the fix in (like Papa Smurf John Sununu did with the Rules shutting out the Ron Paul folks), they will see a whole bunch of wound up, hollering mad possible voters going full bore to teach them a lesson.  And one they will not like.

As I type this, I at amazed at how much time I am spending writing about him…the only
