Hassan PPNH Have a heart

Gov. Maggie Hassan could have just come out and said, “the Republicans in the Executive Council should ‘have a heart’, because Planned Parenthood is having a a sale!” But instead, she released this statement about how the NH Executive Council decided  not to fund her ideological allies with taxpayer money:

“Planned Parenthood provides critical primary and preventive health care services to thousands of New Hampshire women, including cancer screenings, birth control and STD testing. Access to these services is essential to the economic security and vitality of our families, and I am incredibly disappointed in the outcome of today’s vote.

Um…these services are accessible from a wide range of doctors, clinics, hospitals, health providers, and urgent care clinics who ARE NOT planned Parenthood and who DO NOT get taxpayer funding, –and from some that still do.Some of those “services” are available at thousands of retail outlets across the state. Some of them can be obtained via low cost local third party lab service provides. And many of those costs are low or can be offset by taxpayer backed insurance for those eligible to receive it.

And, the paltry by comparison five planned parenthood offices in the state will still be providing all of the services they provided yesterday just without taxpayer funding.

Yes, the abortion cult will continue to perform all the required rituals without pause.

But Look! We’ve freed up half a million or so in the state General Fund for other priorities.

If you are still disappointed it can only be because of your ideological obsession with abortion and the taxpayer dollars to campaign contributions money-laundering scheme that Planned Parenthood represents to yourself and the Democrat party.

“Two years ago, we came together across party lines to restore funding for Planned Parenthood and support the critical health care services that their health centers provide to women, men and families across the state. It is clear that today’s vote is the result of an ideological and political attack against Planned Parenthood and a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions, as there have been no allegations or evidence that Planned Parenthood of Northern New England has done anything but follow New Hampshire law and help thousands of women and families access health care.

Me: Two years ago your so-called political opponents agreed with you. They took your side, which is something you have yet to do for Republicans on any issue ideologically important to Republicans. You are a one-way Hassan. The me-me-me-me-me governor. Anything important to them that you oppose, you oppose. Period.

You’d rather fund Planned Parenthood’s public policy budget instead of nursing homes or highways. You’d rather pad the PPNE marketing department than fund cops or highways or to shorten the mental health waiting list. You can’t be bothered to ask Planned Parenthood of Northern New England to stop doubling its public policy budget and instead spend some of that 1.6 million on the New Hampshire Shrines in the Granite State?

If the “services” are so damn critical where is your outrage at PPNE’s priorities? Why is your disappointment limited to elected representatives who listened to their constituents about their priorities for that money? Money PPNE doesn’t even need to keep the “services” on tap for whoever stumbles through the door?

And what about a woman’s right to choose not to have the government plunder her paycheck to finance activities she opposes? What about her right to invest that money in public education or infrastructure?

I know, One-Way Hassan me-me-me-me-me!

And what about the lives of the “women” who will never get to be women and pay taxes and choose anything because of your militant, cultist obsession with taking other people’s money and giving it to an a militant, cultist organization that disassembles them like slaves atop Aztec temples; removing functioning organs they were still using in sacrifice to the gods of Scientism.

Which brings me back to compromise.

“The council’s vote to defund Planned Parenthood will hurt the health and economic well-being of thousands of Granite Staters. Moving forward, I will continue to fight to ensure that women and families have access to the important health services that are essential to the economic security and vitality of our families.”

The only truth in this statement is that Governor Hassan will fight to fund PPNE’s $1.6 million dollar Public policy budget.  She will fight put roads and bridges and cops and nursing homes behind giving taxpayer dollars to a deep-pocketed multi-national whose services are widely available from providers who do not donate to Democrat politicians. And she will not, under any circumstance, allow that money to be used for tax relief to New Hampshire small business owners; because her government will never put the growth and economic development of businesses that do not farm and sell baby body parts ahead of funding her co-dependent ideological allies in the abortion industry.
