Yeah, we see this from way too many GOP politicians, Darin LaHood is just the latest crummy example

He’s running to replace the disgraced Aaron Schok from Illinois’ 18th District.

I’ve seen LaHood’s name around the blogosphere before.  Like his Dad (Ray, huge Nanny Stater, Obama’s Transportation Secretary), an uber-Establishment Republican, who says one thing to the base but is totally reliant on the Establishment (if not actually on his knees in obeisance.  Any quick Google search will show you that he believes he’s a CONSERVATIVE (his crony capitalism, I guess, doesn’t apply) so he’s not like his Dad.  Both sides of his mouth, thinking he’ll never get caught.  And the Establishment wonders why the Conservative base is no longer willing to put up with this?

Again in light of today’s anti-“words have meaning”, I guess Son-of-LaHood is using the Establishment GOP meaning of what a conservative is.  You know, what Papa Smurf holds to: ALL Republicans are Conservatives.

And we all know that ain’t true.
