Blogline of the Day – vice

by

At least, the first one:

It is now clear that for this Court, extremism in the pursuit of the Sexual Revolution’s goals is no vice.

Ugh, but seemingly true where “feelings” trump enumerated Powers.  Judicial decision or legislative action – hey, in this age, anything can be anything, eh?  Once again, I have to say that my generation, the Boomer generation, has been the worst one in the history of the US, especially in the area of morality (or better, the lack thereof).

Rod Dryer also adds this, which seems to be the outlook in the Right side of the blogosphere:

The next goal of activists will be a long-term campaign to remove tax-exempt status from dissenting religious institutions. The more immediate goal will be the shunning and persecution of dissenters within civil society. After today, all religious conservatives are Brendan Eich, the former CEO of Mozilla who was chased out of that company for supporting California’s Proposition 8.

As we all at GraniteGrok have been saying, getting gay marriage was never the intent, just as getting civil unions was never the intent back then.  No, in each and every Progressive is a totalitarian trying to get out – for that is what socialists are.  They brook no dissent and like with Brendan Eich, have no problem in not just shutting you up but destroying you and anyone else around and associated with you.  After all, we’ve seen this behavior in socialist / communist countries for over a century.  When the Constitution means nothing, when the elite in America no longer countenance or follow it, there are no limitations as to what can be done.

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
