Frankly, they’ve done it to themselves. People with trust institutions that act in trustworthy fashions (even here in the US where most people view Government with an upraised eyebrown (unless you are Zandra Rice-Hawkins (and affiliated co-comrades) who never met a government that she wouldn’t swoon over).
