And this, Speaker Boehner…

by Skip

Methinks you’re forgetting ONE little detail here:

“I am as outraged and frustrated as you at the lawless and unconstitutional actions of this president. … I believe this decision—considering where we are—is the right one for this team, and the right one for this country,” Boehner said, according to the source. “The good news is that the president’s executive action has been stopped, for now. This matter will continue to be litigated in the courts, where we have our best chance of winning this fight.”

Given Obama’s penchant for doing what he pleases now that he has “flexibility” , I think a lot of folks are thinking “Hey, Obama wouldn’t DARE disobey the courts!”.  Me?  Not so much – I think he’s perfectly willing to do so.  And what’s Boehner and McConnell going to do then?  Not much – they’ve already sworn off impeachment and we’ve just seen them watch Obama steal their Power of the Purse.  Flapping their gums ain’t gonna do anything – Obama has just taken their lunch – and ours.

Obama has no roadblocks in his way – and he knows it and I’m betting that everything he has done so far is just a precursor for the remainder of his term.  And don’t forget – he’s now importing LOTS of illegal aliens by stopping enforcement of our borders, giving them green cards, freeing them from the danger of deportment, access to taxpayer benefits which otherwise they would not, is going to give them Social Security cards, the IRS deciding on its own these folks will be able to receive, RETROACTIVELY, EITC payments for the last 3 years EVEN IF THEY PAID NO TAXS (translation – up to $35K each of our money!), his comrades in the states are giving them drivers licenses – and that adds up to voters.  Illegal voters made whole with a grin on his face.  And let’s not forget the Administration’s insistence that ANY agreement (“sole executive agreement“) made with Iran and nukes does not have to have Congress’s approval (Constitution be damned).

And now we hear that his comrades are URGING him to raise taxes – again by Executive Order:

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest confirmed Monday that President Obama is “very interested” in the idea of raising taxes through unilateral executive action. “The president certainly has not indicated any reticence in using his executive authority to try and advance an agenda that benefits middle class Americans,” Earnest said in response to a question about Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) calling on Obama to raise more than $100 billion in taxes through IRS executive action. “Now I don’t want to leave you with the impression that there is some imminent announcement, there is not, at least that I know of,” Earnest continued. “But the president has asked his team to examine the array of executive authorities that are available to him to try to make progress on his goals…”

And campaign finance “reform” by Executive Order as well:

More than 50 organizations are pressing President Obama to issue an executive order requiring increased campaign spending disclosure for companies that contract with the federal government.  The coalition, which includes an assortment of public interest groups, unions, investors and corporations, contends that Obama must act unilaterally in the wake of recent court decisions that have relaxed federal campaign finance regulations. “Congress has been unable to act in this space, so this is a chance for the president to put his money where his mouth is and act,” Lisa Gilbert, the director of Public Citizen’s Congress Watch division, told The Hill on Monday.

Serious, what purpose does Congress serve now that their will has been broken by Obama, Harry Reid, and (gulp) Nancy Pelosi?  And I bet he’ll grin even wider when we call him King – the epitome of the Administrative State so desired by Progressives.  Yes folks, we are falling from within – and LOTS of Democrats are urging him to do more WITHOUT Congress.  They have the power, and now they are taking over.  Rule of Law?  Constitution?

Meaningless when people are elected to office that put ideology and Party before the Constitution and the values that underpin it.  Folks like Boehner, McConnell, Ayotte, and Guinta – they ARE proving they are just that stupid.  They’re in the “just bad politics” paradigm and aren’t seeing the takeover on almost every front in which Government has a hand in.  Which is to say, pretty much every aspect of our lives.  God help us!

Yup, BOTH Kelly Ayotte and Frank Guinta just opted to support his lawlessness, his unconstitutional power grab.  No big thang, they say – with DHS, we’ll all be safer!

And with that, sleight of hand, they have committed the worse crime of not defending the Constitution.  Without that, there is NO safety at all.  They have become the Roman Senate.

From the Blaze, here’s Frank Guinta’s vote and remember, this is the minority of the GOP that joined with the Democrats to support Obama’s shredding of the Constitution:
