And if it is up to them, we’re gonna keep this taxpayer sucking, dependency creating program that breaks EVERY plank in the Republican Party that is even remotely related to it. From the Union Leader:
Including the state’s share of the cost of Medicaid expansion for the final six months of the next biennium, when the state has to begin paying 2 percent of the cost, while also removing the program’s sunset is a mixed bag on the spending side of the ledger.
The House leadership, including House Finance Committee Chairman Neal Kurk, R-Weare, are unwavering in their opposition to continuing the program, but the NH Health Protection Act was sponsored by Morse and Senate Majority Leader Jeb Bradley, R-Wolfeboro, and they want it to continue.
For sponsoring Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion, I have to ask this question:
How do you tell the Republicans from the Democrats?
I dunno, I can’t figure ANY difference out. And this is not opinion – just fact. And that “2 percent of the cost” is only going to rise, faster and faster. So WHY did these Republicans decided to level higher and higher taxes on we taxpayers? And then have the temerity to keep calling out Democrats for doing the exact same thing they have just done?
And NH State Senator Jeannie Forrester, Bob Odell…..the list goes on. And now they are doing all they can to say it ISN’T Medicaid Expansion – as if we’re gonna swallow that falsehood. Yellow rain, folks, yellow rain. And when they whine and say you have it wrong, just ask this real simple question:
Would you REALLY have done this if the Obamacare money WASN’T available?
The answer is no. Establishment Republicans will say anything they want but it is the “crack cocaine free money” that lures them in. Thank you, Neal Kurk, for carrying on the fight against these DBONs (Democrats by Other Names).
