We all here at the ‘Grok wish we had more time and more resources to watch all of our elected Representatives and see what they DO after all that they have TALKED about. Further, I really wish that what they INTENDED to happen would then be the cause of their next action when the RESULT did not match the INTENT. That they would be willing to grow a pair and actually declare:
The RESULT has not matched the INTENT – shut down the program and / or repeal what was done.
The problem are those nasty phrases: We must
- DO something
- MOVE Forward
Pretty much, those two phrase disavow the courage to say a third when warranted: “Oops, this was a mistake”.
