Obama said that we were “rising” as the recession has been over; “the shadow of crisis has passed”. Er, facts are stubborn things and a lot of the middle class doubts his words of fealty to them as his policies have done them little good:
Income is down for the middle class and that’s best case – if you aren’t one of the underemployed or one of those who just plain have given up looking for work. And Obama can say what he wishes but he owns this – this IS his economy. More graphs at the link.
