Stupid is as stupid does. 22 year old dead stupid (reformatted, emphasis mine):
A woman in Memphis, Tennessee, answered a knock at her door at around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday. When she opened the door, she found herself in a potential life-and-death situation. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Nico Carlisle, reportedly forced his way into the residence and pressed a gun to the female homeowner’s neck. However, the suspected criminal was seemingly unaware that the woman had retrieved her handgun before she went to investigate the knock at the door. Police say the woman then fired multiple shots at Carlisle in apparent self-defense.
Responding police officers found the suspect lying down near the front door with multiple gunshot wounds. Carlisle was eventually pronounced dead…WREG-TV reports that no charges have been filed against the homeowner.
This is what happens when the criminals think that we good people are unarmed – but aren’t. Bad decisions oft have bad outcomes and obviously Carlisle not play “future chess moves” and only thought about the “here and now move” instead of mentally ticking off the list of “how could this end badly?” move. He probably also forgot that old adage “your opponent gets a vote, too” – and she marked her ballot faster than he did (er, she voted multiple times – that should make her a Democrat standout, eh?). Probably at no time did he think The ONLY equalizer in this story was his. Instead we end up with a good ending. Yet it seems that Democrats / Progressives / Liberals still want to disarm the American populace and perhaps this Tennessee lady would only be collateral damage to the Progressive Utopia of Universal Kumbaya without people wanting what other people have (or, a want to just hurt them for the sake of it).
Instead, overcoming the physical handicap that most women have in relationship to male physical strength, she was able to equalize and overcome the strength of her attacker and his assault on her womanhood. Yet, even the Moms Demand Action (anti-guns) would gladly have her be a victim if only to have their ideological victory).
In which THEY vote for the criminals and those that REALLY have a #WarOnWomen (especially the defenseless ones).
