Political Scoop: him questions, me answers

New WMUR logoHaven’t done this for a while but decided to use the flyswatter one more time before putting it away for the season on a couple of the questions just laid out there in the breeze:

Anyone else notice that the Steve Vaillancourt comments on Kuster got more play in national media than it did in local media?

Er, it is because we all know what the rivals look like?  Or is it is that there is just no contest “there”?

What did striking Fairpoint workers learn from the Market Basket protests over the summer?

Nuthin…

Will any state Senate contest begin to get attention?

Nope, all that action happened before the primary.  Now, all the O2 has been sucked out of that room by the Fed and Gov races.  Add to that, the Exec. Council races too.

So now the Attorney General’s office is looking into fake political websites?

Sure!  It takes the spotlight off the Voter Fraudsters that land here in NH during this cycle – and they can say “We’re doing something IMPORTANT!” while they do the sleight of hand.

UP:  Ray Buckley: More than one person noted that the biggest ever Jefferson-Jackson dinner had to be among the greatest days in Buckley’s career as chair.

Sheer WMUR Journalistic blinkering (or is that outright bias?), as a couple of the Ray Buckley videos (e.g., “Hitler should have bombed it”, “I want to <Rule #1 redacted> hard”, and the sound of the zipper) made the scene nationally.  We can make fun of the Rs; Ds not so much, eh?

That’s what happens when you price your product too high – WMUR running into its own version of the Laffer Curve??
