Before a couple of family matters popped up, I had been trying to find a better description of this event as well as an actual transcription from it on Canal+; all I am seeing is a bunch of “cut and paste” posts which always tend to make me leery but coming out of this source, I tend to trust it a bit more:
A few days ago President Obama, in an interview he gave France’s Canal+ TV Channel, said that the American people need to be better educated about Islam, since US could and should be regarded as a Muslim country. He said that the number of Muslims residing in the US makes it “one of the biggest Muslim nations”.

Of course and once again, Obama has his facts wrong – Muslims are a tiny minority within the US. But, of course and once again, we see him proclaiming a mantra of his own expecting that we would believe it. Or he’s slipped, once again, back into Community Organizer mode – the tactic of continuously “rubbing a wound raw” in constantly agitating the opposition. Me? A bit of both – it seems that the only major religion he doesn’t rile up is that of Islam. Par for the course….
