No less than “the Father of our Country” states that the American people have the Right to the arms to defend themselves against tyranny – including their own government. As a law abiding citizen, why should I (if I could afford it) own my own F-22? Many of the Left scoff and dismiss this idea – which only seals the meme that they believe that ONLY Government should have an overriding ability to force – against anyone, including its own citizens. And the scenario in Ferguson is bringing this issue to the forefront again.
