First World Problem Solved: DC Gym for Dogs

Who says there is too much money in Washington DC?

In a region filled with dog parks, doggy day care, dog walkers, dog-biscuit bakeries and rooftop dog-washing stations, the canine industrial complex has produced another indulgence: Fido fitness. Frolick bills itself as the Washington area’s first sports club for pets. For $50 a month, dogs get unlimited access to an air-conditioned 6,000-square-foot facility boasting two treadmills, balance balls (for that important core), cross-training and an agility course of hurdles, tunnels and balance beams.

This would be great except for one thing.  Most of the disposable income that will be spent at this “air-conditioned 6,000-square-foot facility” is the result of the constant milking of taxpayer dollars that fill the federal udders.  This is money that has been handed to bureaucrats but that should have been left to the states and the people it was plundered from…to fix bridges, if I had to come up with at least one example.
