This afternoon was spent at the McManus home event thrown for Jane Cormier who is running against the Establishment Republican Dave Boutin (who voted to move FORWARD! the twin Democrat agenda items of raising taxes (the gas tax) and making State Government MUCH bigger (Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion) by voting for both) for the NH State Senate Primary. About 50 people were in attendance. A number of candidates spoke but Marilinda Garcia had the line of the day:
“…but they divide us by gender, they divide us by race, divide us by socioeconomic status and demographics. And they say the way to solve all our problems and make everybody happy is to mandate equality of outcome. If we just make you all the same, you’ll all be happy.”
THAT is a succinct summary of the Progressive end goal – there will be no independence, there will be no differences, and there will no one better than anyone else. Regardless of your God given talents (oh yeah, this is the Party that booed God at their last national Convention). And YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO YOU TO MAKE YOU HAPPY!
Makes you wonder what the consequence of not being happy with that would be…
