Ah, yes…President Constitutional Lecturer is yet again shows his ire against those Black Robed judges that have, once again, thwarted his efforts to dispatch that which he hates (the US Constitution). So, he send out his Royal Gum Flapper to yet again tout his erudition and his lofty status:
“Well, as the constitutional lawyer who sits in the Oval Office would tell you is, he would read the entire decision before he passed judgment in terms of his own legal analysis. What we have been able to assess so far … is that there is a problem that has been exposed, …
And would that be that, once again (for the 13th time, folks), the fact that Obama can’t tell what is Constitutional or not? Or is the problem is that Obama has now been exposed himself as the problem: “If its Constitutional, he’s trying to go against or around it”. Wilson, FDR, and now Obama – can’t assemble a much more dangerous set of men against how America is versus what they decided to transform it to be.
…which is that there are now a group of women of an indeterminate size who no longer have access to free contraceptive coverage simply because of some religious views held, not by them necessarily, but by their bosses,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest.
Nothin’ fer nothin’ says “Constitutional” like free contraceptives. Gosh, I know that medical science only created the pill back in the early 60’s, but lots of other ways have been around for centuries – and Government wasn’t paying for them then? I guess this “group of women of an indeterminate size” hasn’t visited their local high schools (especially those with built-in health clinics) – lots of free contraceptives there (and maybe if you lie about your age, mebbe they’ll take you for a little trip to Planned Parenthood without telling your parents).
“We disagree and the constitutional lawyer in the Oval Office disagrees with that conclusion from the Supreme Court. And that’s why we–primarily, because he is concerned about the impact it could have on the health of those women.”
Never thought the day would arrive that being pregnant would be considered a disease instead of a happy event (or, in some cases, the consequence of a bad decision). But the worst was this: “simply because of some religious views held, not by them necessarily, but by their bosses“. Now, whatever I say may not matter – the Democrats are gonna demagogue this forever without telling the truth but here goes anyways:
- For centuries, bosses had nothing to do with the “reproductive health” of women
- For decades (since the Government had Price and Wage controls in place), bosses offered benefits to their workers VOLUNTARILY to attract the best ones
- For few decades, however, busybodies that hate companies and corporations shoved Government into the HR business of everyone else’s businesses and mandated stuff – more and more such that bosses had less and less control over the bennies (and the cost thereof)
- Democrat / Progressives run Government now decides that it should have total control over healthcare benefits -one political Party (er, only the Dems, may I remind you) and passed Obamacare, taking just about all decisions out of the bosses’ hands.
And that last part is what Obama and the Progressives believe is their Divine Right (even without believing in God or natural rights); how DARE we challenge their authority! But I digress:
- Add in some Redistribution, and “free stuff” becomes a Common Good (and the folks that have to give up of their private property (via taxes), well, we hate private property, its our money anyways, and those scum are selfish anyways because we have to make their share).
- Absolute power corrupts absolutely – and those in power, Democrats / Progressives decided to run roughshod over anyone whose philosophy runs counter to their “good intentions for the Common Good”
- The Democrat / Progressives Government’s version of “Common Good” make no allowance for anyone’s religious views
- After all, religious views, according to Democrat / Progressives Government and Obama, there is no such thing as First Amendment of Freedom of Expression but, as Obama keeps saying “Freedom of worship” to be strictly limited to within the 4 walls of your house and your house of worship and never in the public square.
- So who ARE these Justices that are defending the Rights of those bitter clingers anyways???
And so we see that all of the protestations aside, Democrats can’t tell the truth – bosses used to have the control years ago and no one ever complained. No one, either, got upset that they had to provide for their own damn pills. So when you look at all of these Democrat women, many of them 1%ers, ask yourself:
- Why are they whining about having to buy their own stuff?
- Why are they whining that now others don’t have to give them stuff for free?
- Worse – why do they believe that Government should take stuff from other people simply to assuage their bedroom hijinks?
In years past, they would get together and say “hey – problem! Let us as private citizens go solve it”. Now, the knee jerk is to demand Government have other people fix it. An religious views of others are to be ignored (at best), ridiculed (mostly) and spurned (when it gets in their way).
No, it isn’t about anyone’s religious views, including any bosses’ or owners. The Democrats are useless without scapegoats else their policies would be seen for the fraudulent stuff it really is. So, demonize the bosses for their own failure to follow the Constitution. After all, Obamacare passed Supreme muster 5-4 to become law, so Democrats have no footing to whimper that that living by that Constitutional sword means dying by it, too.
So why do Democrats and Progressives pick on the religious amongst us? Because those of traditional faith are their Number One Enemy. Progressives’s God IS Government and the one Commandment they take seriously is the Second: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (but I think Obama forgot about the Third). And woe to those that Worship the True God of Government instead of like the God of the bitter clingers.
So this is just yet another scheme of the Progressive marketing – pit sexual license against the tradition values of Christianity, pit LGBT (xyz – who has the time to bother to keep up with the next set of politically correct letters) against the Churches of all types. Anything to make the victims versus the Oppressors – it is the Alinsky way. They know what they say is wrong, that they are factually wrong. They just don’t care.
After all, Alinsky was all about the end justifies ANY means to gain the goal – of Government being completely in control and no individual Rights. It is part and parcel of turning the Founders idea of Individual Liberty into that Hobbesian Leviathan, the control no better than the Communists or the Fascists. Certainly, they will rail against the comparison, muddying the water, to take away from people actually seeing the results and distract the people with yet the next Dense Pack man-made crisis.
And shows why he’s lost 13 straight unanimous Supreme Court decisions.
