You know, I’ve said it before, Barack Obama is really the president Richard Nixon always wanted to be. You know, he’s been allowed to act unilaterally in a way that we’ve fought for decades.
Please note, even while saying this on Fox News, Turley is a bona fide member of the Liberal Establishment. However, here and in past utterances, he seems to at least put up the meme that the Constitution must be followed regardless of one’s position on the political spectrum. At the time, the Democrats HATED Nixon as much as they hated Bush now. How it must feel, IF they were to be factually objective (but we know that emotion rules the Left in everything except in trying to remove anyone that threatens their power), that “their guy” has turned out even worse?
Or even worse, given that it is “their guy”, his proceeding apace along the Imperial Presidency is a feature and not a disaster?
