Gosh, and I thought everyone knew that those late into a Ponzi scheme gets screwed!
Demographics rule this world, and Progressive policies that have made it more and more expensive to have the larger families that easily supported the underpinnings of SS (i.e., lots of workers to support retired) will end up killing their own “pillar” policy (that society as a whole must be forced to support senior citizens rather than the traditional way that families took care of their own).
In the meantime, because the Government raided the ill-named “lock box” to spend on other programs instead, you know, actually investing it for a real ROI, pretty much all of us still working right now are the last ones into that Ponzi pool….
