Obamacare is a direct attack against the middle class.
- The ‘poor’ receive free healthcare. The level of those considered ‘poor’ has just risen dramatically here in New Hampshire thanks to Medicaid expansion and with no limitation on Medicaid eligible people relocating to New Hampshire causing the level to only rise higher.
- The ‘wealthy’ can afford to pay for healthcare. Wealthy defined as individual/family that have enough income to pay for health insurance without taking from basic subsistence i.e. food, mortgage/rent, heat, education, etc.
- Those individuals that make less that 400% of the Federal Poverty Level ($45,960) receive temporary subsidies (on premiums not yearly deductible) that are variable based on the FPL. Those subsidies will eventually sunset.
So let’s see…….What ‘class’ of people are left out of the above equation? That is why, Obamacare is a direct attack against middle class America.
