According to a new survey by Insure.com, women say that attractive men tend to drive black Ford pickup trucks. The survey of 2,000 men and women asked what type, brand and color of vehicle are driven by the most fetching members of the opposite sex.
Women ranked these styles as cars that attractive men drive:
- Pickup trucks: 32%
- Sports cars: 27%
- SUVs: 16%
- Sedans: 11%
- Hybrid or electric: 9%
- UPS truck: 4%
- Minivans: 2%
- Mail truck: 1%
I don’t see a whole lotta support for the “crunchy cars” – dubbed “green” or “EVs” at 9%. Even Obama’s claim that He can simply make 1 million electric cars be on the road by, er, next year is seemingly looking very woeful (about the same veracity as his claim that He was going to heal the planet. So, is Obama going to declare all these women to be sexists or Luddites?
And for the record, I’ve owned Saabs, Chryslers, Chevys, and Fords; I’m not a brand guy but a “like any good tool, does it fit MY needs at the time?” – a choice that Progressives with to take away from me. For the record, I miss my Suburban…best overall vehicle I ever owned and STILL got 23-24 mpg with 350 engine on the highway.
