And remember, one of the “sainted” Progressives in the Progressive Hall of Fame wasn’t much of a civil rightist now, was he? All he did was to send us further in Viet Nam and micro-managed the effort to defeat and started the Trillions of spending on the War on Poverty that has done diddly to actually rectify the problem. But then again, Progressives have never been all that hep on evaluating results have they?
So, being reminded of LBJ’s actual words, are his fellow Progressives going to unleash the same opprobrium upon him as they have the Founders – for being racist?
