Conservative Groups to Join to Oppose Senate ObamaCare Medicaid Expansion Plan Tuesday
CONCORD – Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire (AFP-NH) announced that it will join with other conservative New Hampshire groups, including the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire, Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire and Cornerstone Action at a press conference Tuesday at the Legislative Office Building at 8:30 AM for a press conference opposing SB 413, legislation to expand the state’s Medicaid program under ObamaCare. That bill will have its public hearing at 9:15 AM the same day before the Senate Health, Education and Human Services Committee.
“The entirety of the conservative movement has come together to oppose the Senate plan to bring ObamaCare to New Hampshire,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director. “With the numerous problems facing the state, from lawsuits over the Medicaid tax and four straight months of missing revenue estimates, it’s time for the legislature to start taking a serious look at fixing New Hampshire’s problems, not trying to jam a bad Washington policy onto the Granite State. Tuesday, the fiscally responsible groups from across the state will join together to make clear that we will hold legislators accountable who put ObamaCare before finding solutions to the real issues in state government.”
