Sigh…I never sounded this good…

In high school, college, and after starting my “adult” life I used to sing in Christian choirs.  Growing up, I always hoped to end up having a deep bass voice but it was not to be.  Decent range – I could sing alto down to a “high baritone” – but never the deep basso profundo that I had desired. C’est la – but it never stopped me from enjoying singing.  So why do I mention this now?

I seldom watch network TV anymore (“Last Man Standing” and “A Person of Interest” being pretty much the lone exceptions right now) but one of TMEW’s and my favorite shows is returning.  Normally a “summer” show, “The Sing Off” will be starting up in a couple of weeks.  Showcasing a capella groups (no instruments, only vocals), it is one of the few times I will crank the TV volume up.  Well, Season Three’s winner, Pentatonix, has a rendition of the traditional Christmas favorite “The Little Drummer Boy”:

Hey, it’s now December – Merry Christmas!  (H/T: The Blaze )
