“Do you know who I am?” vs “The Big Guy sent me”

Interesting question at Pindell’s Political Scoop – but he missed the even more important question.  He did ask:

How is the first meeting between Matt Mowers and David Chesley going to go?

Chesley is Chesley only because he’s been riding on Horn’s skirt train (well, coattails would have been chauvinist, right (Lord Political Correctness help me if I was to sound derogatory, right?))?  Really, what kind of state wide elected office run has he managed (two losing efforts with Horn)?  Meanwhile, Mowers actually has accomplished something worthwhile with helping Christie win in a much larger State. I’m very much doubting Chesley gets this one – Horn’s is still struggling while Christie will overwhelm her with his presence when he starts his visits.
That said, given the results of her chairship (in toto) thus far, the tension between her and the EBoard, and the fact that another of Christie’s operatives is now going to be in a high profile NH race by hooking up with Dan Innis (and is that a crowning of sorts as well, to the detriment of Guinta?), here’s my more important question:
Does Mower’s arrival make Horn a lame duck and reduced to being a figurehead only?
