Obama hates the military, one of the essential signs of the power of America. But, given his policy of Determined Weakness, not only has he reduced the Army to being able to field TWO (ONLY TWO!) Combat Brigades due to lack of money over the last 6 months, he now wants to hammer the Proudest American military force – the US Marines. Take a look at this picture – can the dude on the right look any dorkier in that beanie?
Yes, a more “female friendly” hat (notice, not a “cover”). And yes, this IS the handiwork of President Obama – every post I’ve read on this today has made it clear that it is HIS wish to have the Marines look “unisex”. Yes, what a way to treat the force that believes it IS the Warrior Class that protects their country – make’em all look like girly men. I cannot wait to show this to the Eldest (a prior Marine) – he’ll have blood shooting out of his eyeballs.
Thanks to a plan by President Obama to create a “unisex” look for the Corps, officials are on the verge of swapping out the Marines’ iconic caps – known as “covers” — with a new version that some have derided as so “girly” that they would make the French blush.
“We don’t even have enough funding to buy bullets, and the DoD is pushing to spend $8 million on covers that look like women’s hats!” one senior Marine source fumed to The Post. “The Marines deserve better. It makes them look ridiculous.”
Exactly! What – you didn’t realize that was the WHOLE PURPOSE??
