Why Libs hate auto racing (like NASCAR):
1 – Auto races have winners and losers.
2 – No driver gets a government subsidy because they’re poor.
3 – No driver gets a 3-lap penalty because they’re rich.
4 – No driver gets a head start because of their race or skin color.
5 – No driver gets a head start because they’re gay.
6 – No driver gets a head start because they’re a woman.
7 – The first one across the finish line wins. Period.
And, perhaps most distressing of all to liberals:
8 – Only the winner gets a trophy.
And I will add this – when a given race is over, its over. Why can’t we ever seem to have a Government program end? Or canceled because of weather? Or, better yet, like a race car whose engine blows up (re: program not meeting its metrics), it is quickly withdrawn and pushed into the garage.
Which brings up the point – why can’t these programs have metrics to see if they have won (they work) or crashed into the wall (a complete wreck which helps no one and has only cost tons of money)?
