Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted
As Grokster Steve pointed out here, these scandals are almost too much to keep up with – such is the hubris of a man who would be King, political appointees who believe and act as if those that dissent are to be destroyed, and the bureaucracy of Leviathan Progressive Government repelling at the ramparts those that would cut it down to a more proper size. So it was in the beginning when many of us were bewildered “How can they write this much legislation this fast??”. Now, it is a case of “how much faster can this unravel – and when will Seymour‘s tendrils wrap around the White House?
