Obama himself, in 1996, stated he was in favor of a complete ban on handguns and “assault weapons” as well as concealed carry. He also was on the Board at the Joyce Foundation that handed out money to groups that want to disarm the populace. And in the past few months, we have heard NY Gov. Cuomo (NY-D) state that he was in favor on gun confiscation if it came to his desk. US Senator Blumenthal (D-CT) has said the same. Ditto for US Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA). So Democrats are on record of being Anti-Second Amendment. Now comes another crop of Democrats, this time from new Jersey on an open, hot mic, letting their true feelings know about their fellow citizens and the Second Amendment (emphasis mine):
“We needed a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate.”
“They [gun owners] want to keep the guns out of the hands of the bad guys, but they don’t have any regulations to do it.”
“They don’t care about the bad guys. All they want to do is have their little guns and do whatever they want with them.”
“That’s the line they’ve developed.”
The discussion appears to be among Senator Loretta Weinberg (D37), Senator Sandra Cunningham (D31), Senator Linda Greenstein (D14), and at least one member of Senate Democratic staff.
