Yes, this is part of this post, where the emphasis was on how they left the County Attorney in a lurch – yes, she is an elected official but reports to the Commissioners (yet, the County Convention sets her budget).
Yeah, playing politics. It both rather amusing to watch this childish stunt (“Oh look, we’ll just take our ball…”) as the convention was discussing how the Convention was to approach the attorney situation AND watching out for not crossing the boundaries of who reports to who when. And then to finish the rest (“…Run Away!”) when they realized that the doorway wasn’t all that great of a hidey-hole.
A prime example of “how not to handle a situation” – jollies for now, but I’m getting the idea that there will be a consequence for this.
