Having just mentioned The Wizard of Oz here, and a different franchise prequel here, I guess we might as well share this; It is the Wizard of Oz prequel. Yes dear readers, there is a prequel. And it looks half good and then some.
The movie is due out next March. It tells the tale of the Wizard himself, as a younger man, and his adventures in Oz prior to the arrival of Dorothy and her little dog Toto. (I’ll get you my pretty! – Sorry.)
It is called Oz, The Great and Powerful.
