Ten days of blaming a YouTube video for the coordinated al Qaeda terrorist attack that resulted in four dead Americans in Benghazi Libya may yet turn out to be true.  That video, or more precisely the White House cover-up, might well be the last straw that tips a significant number of voters away from Obama, sealing his landslide loss.

In all truth, I think he was toast either way, but the video lie and cover up will convince plenty of people (including Democrats, union workers, Jews, Blacks, women, a larger percentage of every classic Democrat constituency) that their uneasiness about Obama and the way his administration conducts America’s business is justified.  They voted for him once.  They did their duty to history.  But it is time to get serious and Obama is not the guy.

They will say they support Obama from now until Tuesday.  They may even tell exit pollsters they voted for him after.  But cloistered in the voting booth, large numbers of these folks will not vote for Obama.  They will vote for Mitt Romney.

And I’ve been saying this for months.  The polls are off by seven to ten points.  Given what the polls do show, Obama is history, and if we want to, we can go ahead and blame that video, but it’s all Obama’s fault.
