In the historic Presidential tradition of leaving phrases imbued into the mind of the citizenry to echo for generations, one of the phrases for this era is crystallizing. Remember Kennedy’s, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”, or Reagan’s, “Mr. Gorbachev, Tear down this wall”, well, the current occupant of the White House has sewn one of his own. It comes not from his own teleprompter reflected words, but from the citizenry at large. It simply asks, “Where the hell did all the stimulus money go?”
Well, dear reader, today we can rest a little more comfortably knowing that we will be able to impart just a teensy-weensy bit more information when our children ask us that same question. It turns out that some went to “… commercials ran on MSNBC on shows hosted by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann…” of course! (Woo-hoo! That Barack, *snif*, he’s always bringing people together.) The odd part is that it “… didn’t report any jobs created…”–actually that’s not so odd.
