Democrat Support for Obama Waning?

Way back when anyone cared, if at all, Burger King used to run commercials in which people at Burger King would look into the camera and say they like the Whopper better than the Big Mac.  To anyone paying attention to the “small print” it became clear what the context was.  People who go to Burger King, prefer it to McDonald’s.

No kidding, really?

So when Reuters produces a poll in which 51% or respondents are Democrats, and Obama only gets a 50% approval rating, if the headline reads “Obama approval rating at 50%,” and not much else, then they are not reporting accurate details about the state of the presidency, they are selling a perception they want you to believe.  Another word for that is propaganda.  It is not something the “free press” is supposed to engage in.   But coming from Reuters, (and most of the traditional media) this is not all that surprising.

If they were even remotely unbiased the headline would read…”Is Democrat support for Obama waning?”  But we can’t have people thinking that, especially if it is true.
