2012 Presidential Primary – Herman trucking along

by Skip

I try to hit Rassmussen (I actually got called last night!) and Gallup on a fairly frequent basis to see what some of the "statistical" pulse of things politics, and was fairly surprised to see this:

With the non-stop media coverage of the Republican primary, I’m not surprised that his name recognition has gone up.  Too, the debates have gotten much better ratings than first expected – that can’t hurt either.  But generally, once a politician gets "known", their unfavorable rating starts to climb with it.

Er, starts to climb with it??

Hmmm, conventional wisdom is wrong?  Normally, folks think that Ron Paul has the most "rabid" fans (for good or bad feature, depending on your viewpoint), but Cain is FAR outstripping him.  Very different from the last time I put this up:

Big Winners?  Cain, Gingrich

Big Losers: Bachmann, Huntsman

Steady: Romney,  Paul (down a tad), Santorum (down a tad)
