Last night, GraniteGrok was invited to a house event held by TEA Party (and Republican) activist Diane Bitter for Herman Cain, an announced candidate for the Republican nomination for President. Approximately 85-100 folks showed up to listen to Herman lay out his case as to why they should be supporting and voting for him in the Republican Primary. Certainly the crowd was attentive, given the rise in stature of his candidacy since the South Carolina Debate (and the corresponding rise in the polls from almost non-existent to rising near to the front runners).
