Yesterday, JR called in while Ann-Marie Banfield was talking about HB 542 concerning Parental Rights and Choice concerning objectionable material that runs counter to their values and morality. Not getting a chance to more fully explain his viewpoint, we conducted a Special Interview this afternoon:
A few things stood out:
What HB 542 embodes what is in the Republican Platform: it is Parents that raise their children – not the State.
Senator Jim Forsythe is championing this bill – among the Senators on the Educational Commitee, he was the lone supporter of this bill. GraniteGrok supports him and thanks him for his staunch support of this bill!
