Well, it seems that the Unions, and associated Union Thugs (like those from the SEIU, our lovely State public workers collective that ventured onto Lynne Blankenbeker’s home property, bringing new joy to the union movement in that oh so intimdating fashion (er, wrong person to tick off, ladies and gents, if that those terms can be so loosely applied!)), part of the HAVE-YOURS entitlement crowd, have decided to harass the folks we put into office to guard our wallets and make government smaller!
Tomorrow, we get into practice what we preached: time to haul out OUR pitchforks and watch their backs! We listened to their campaign speeches, we voted for them, and we have watched as they are keeping their promises:
- They are cutting out the spending of money that the Democrats did – NH is not going to spend money IT doesn’t have!
- They are cutting down the size of Government returning the POWER that the Democrats took from us, the citizens, and making us responsible for ourselves again instead of forcing us to be dependent on the State.
And those that live off the teat of our taxes are FUMING! They have attacked our Representatives in the paper, they are demonstrating their fury by beclowning themselves at the State House, and have borne truth to the meme that they exist, not to serve, but to take and hold power. And man, aren’t they whining mighty hard about it!

We must stop out of control spending and let the unions know it is our hard earned money as well. It is time to let the State Reps that we voted into office hear the New Hampshire tax payers voice!

…The folks who ran for office last fall did so knowing that they were going to have to shoulder the burden that previous legislatures – both Democrat and Republican – left them. They do not have the luxury of surpluses or federal stimulus money to help them paint a pretty picture. No, this legislature has been tasked with perhaps the biggest financial challenge of any legislature before it, and my friends, THEY ANSWERED THE CALL. We asked them to cut spending – AND THEY DID. We asked them to cut taxes – AND THEY DID. We asked them to keep their word – AND THEY HAVE.
Simply put, this legislature deserves our support because they did EXACTLY what we asked them to do. While organized groups opposing their efforts are getting much play in the media, we need to turn up the volume and let our elected officials know they are doing the right thing – and THANK THEM for having the courage to stand by their campaign promises – you can start by sending them and email HERE. And after you’ve thanked them, tell your family and friends the truth about what they are doing, write a letter to the editor of your local paper and let it be known: in New Hampshire, our elected officials keep their word!

State employee unions are out in full force this week to try to bully our representatives. They are desperately trying to keep their status as a protected class of workers—at the continued expense of the taxpayers of New Hampshire.
You see, Republicans have put forth a budget amendment that would strike a blow at the collective bargaining law that is at the heart of state employee union power.
Please send our representatives a message that you support the Kurk Amendment as part of HB2.
You and I both know that the time for special treatment of public employees must come to an end. Those of us employed by the private sector have to fund our own retirement, pay a higher share of our benefits, and move up in our career through merit and personal accomplishment. It is time that public employees join the rest of us.
Folks, our Representatives made promises to us. In return, we voted for them and made the implicit promise: watch our backs, and we’ll protect yours!
I know it’s a work day, but they need our help to stave off the horde of the "gimme-guys and gimme-gals" – time to show up!
