Dr. Tom Woods is the author of 11 books, holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Harvard and a Masters of Philosophy and Ph.D from Columbia University. A senior fellow at the Ludwig von Mises Institute, ("…the world center of the Austrian School of economic [free markets] and libertarian political and social theory…". He is also associated with the Tenth Amendment Center where he is one of the featured speakers on the Nullify Now! tour that will be coming to SNHU in Manchester, NH on March 19 (and GraniteGrok will be there!).
Dr. Woods came on to talk about his recent book, Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century. We talked with him concerning the book, why it is getting the attention it is, why is it attracting the TEA Party folks while the elite politicos run from this amendment crafted by Thomas Jefferson as part of the magnificent set of checks and balances of power in the nascent nation – in this case, the States ability to check the overreach of a growing Leviathan of a Federal government.
