One of the staples of the "retail politics" that has been "forever" here in NH is the house event; put on by interested folks or supporters of one candidate or another, it gives the ordinary person a chance to get the measure of a given candidate up close and personal. Questions, after a while, become pretty much similar – but they are good to go to as sometimes, somebody IS going to think of one that just makes somebody else squirm. And we try to get one of the Groksters to get to as many of these as possible (given that we all work for a living, is not always the easiest thing to do).
Nope, not one of those posts – but the events happen ALL the time AND at all times. Right now, Herman Cain is the guest at a house party where a number of friends and homeschoolers are having the chance to yak with Mr. Cain.
