This past Thursday, Frank Guinta, freshman GOP Representative from NH, had his first town hall meeting in Laconia, NH during his first "district work" week. I had the opportunity to meet Laconia Mayor Mike Seymour, who did the intro for Frank, for the first time. Here is the introductory remarks by Frank before he started to take questions:
Frank has definitely has improved in his delivery since I first watched him two years ago – shortened the remarks, has gotten more pithy, but certainly seems to be quite knowledgeable about the issues. It is also clear that on some topics / issues he is a bit conflicted – there are hard choices to make. I do believe that he means it when he wants to hear from his constituents and wants your ideas.
Yup, we got plenty of those!
