Well, I got my "I’m endorsing Juliana Bergeron Letter" from Gov. Sununu – but I feel SO left out!
It seems that a number of voting Members (of the NH GOP State Committee) are getting "personal" calls from either Ms. Bergeron or the Guv. Problem is, unlike Jack who NOT ONCE has spoken ill of his opponent (either now OR during the gubernatorial race), these are getting stridently "anti-Jack" instead of emulating Jack and keeping it classy as Jack has and be "pro_Juliana".
Right. This is promoting "unity"? It seems to me, having met many folks that supported Jack then and are supporting him now, once they’ve made that decision, it is a HARD decision. Not only that, with a HARD decision to support, they not much liking the run-down.
That can and probably will result in HARD feelings later on. She’s going to build a sense of UNITY when she and the Guv have gone around insulting the man some would follow to the Gates of Hell (and yes, I can think of several whose devotion to Jack BECAUSE of what he believes and lives would do exactly that). Not once has Jack ever uttered a word or thought against the Platform – loyalty is a word that can be ascribed to him. Juliana?
One person reports:
“I guess even hyenas are united when they are ripping apart one of their own …..doesn’t make it right….you would expect this from a Democrat, but from a Republican….what has my party come to?
Yeah, that bodes well, right? Rah, rah, sis-boom….ok, just boom….or a resigned sigh…
Given the above, maybe thus sums up the results they’re going to get:
Another caller reported that upon informing Juliana that she was voting for Jack, that Juliana replied – “(Callers name omitted) its not looking good for me (Juliana referring to her campaign).”
The press knows (I’m not the first on this story) but I’ve seen nothing from the traditional political reporters. What are they doing – sitting on it?
For what reason, hmmmm?
