We are just hearing about the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-D) and her aides – our prayers go out to her, her family, those that were killed and their families as well.
We are not a country that settles its political disputes with gunfire; we consider this an abhorrent action and words cannot describe… our feelings.
May justice be served quickly upon the person who has done this.

Certainly, the Congresswoman is not one that we would agree with in the political sphere – but that is not the point. Politics should be served and battled with WORDS – never with violence. Doing so is not using the Rule of Law, but the Rule of Man – actual violence should be anathema for those that play in politics or those wish to. Violence is contrary to our political outlook – for it is the mark of a bully.
