NH GOP Annual Meeting – Nominations for NH GOP Chair: Lynn Blankenbeker, Peter Angerhofer, Maureen Mooney

I already posted the nomination of Jack Kimball for NH GOP Chair that NH Speaker Bill O’Brien gave here.  Each of the candidates, however, had two folks nominating them for the position:

  • Lynn Blankenbeker for Jack
  • Peter Angerhofer and Maureen Mooney for Juliani Bergeron

The "seconding" nomination of Jack Kimball for NH GOP Chair was given by NH House Representative Lynn Blankenbeker.  A Commander in the Navy, Conservative, and seen as one of the "New Republicans", she won a special election in Concord in a heavily Democrat district and has attracted a lot of attention – deservedly so.

Peter Angerhofer ran for the NH State Senate and gave the actual nomination speech for Juliana Bergeron while NH House Representative Maureen Mooney, a long term Republican activist, gave the seconding nomination speech.
