Well, I am surprised – not!
This election cycle has been nothing BUT the Dems all towing the same "anti-stuff" against their opponents:
- Kill Social Security
- Kill Obamacare
- Protect companies shipping jobs overseas
By the way, on the expose on this last fallacy, here’s a decent "starter" article.
Problem is, they’ve been pitching this against ALL of their opponents – regardless of whether or not they are Federal candidates (that would have any influence on those issues) – signs of desperation, hoping that something would stick to the wall.
Well, maybe something else for the Presidential Follies that have already started – the Dems have started their Oppo Research on the major figures by asking for FOIA requests; I really wasn’t too surprised at this list of folks:
- former Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska
- former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass.
- Gov. Haley Barbour, R-Miss.
- Gov. Tim Pawlenty, R-Minn.
- former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
- former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga.
- Gov. Mitch Daniels, R-Ind.
- Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La.
NONE of these surprised me – I think all of them have landed here in NH already. I was fairly surprised at the target of the requests – a data dump of all the docs / communications the above have had with the Pentagon. Hmmmm
The one name that was also on their list, but not above was this one: Sen. John Thune, R-S.D. I don’t recall him being in state – yet….
