You bet we have our favorites – just look up. If you’re on the fence, take it from us; we’ve gone to the events multiple times, we’ve listened to them multiple times, and we’ve questioned them multiple times. Are there others in NH that we could have endorsed as well? Certainly – but we’re just 4 ordinary schlubs with day jobs – we just couldn’t get around to everyone.
All of these folks show the temperment to meet with our approval. Sure, they’re conservative. Sure, they are for less Government involvement in micromanaging our lives – meaning enhanced Liberty for us all – more Choice Freedom. Sure they are for less taxes – more Economic Freedom. But more importantly, they ALL have that essential "something" that was absolutely mandatory in our endorsements:
CHARACTER
Here are two questions to ask yourself:
- Would I be willing to leave my kids with this person for an extended amount of time (an easy question)?
- Can I trust that person to always do the right thing EVEN WHEN NO ONE IS AROUND TO WATCH OR TATTLE?
Think about that last one. Hard.
We’ve already made our decisions – because they WILL be making decisions that will affect our kids. And there will be plenty of times (and offers) to cut corners when no one else is around. Who will stand firm? Just look to the top of this post…
Go. Vote. There are no excuses – this IS the most important election in your lifetime! Either we remain an American Republic as envisioned by the Founding Fathers, or simply just another European Socialist democracy.
Your choice. Your responsibility. Fulfill it.
