Data Point – And they wonder why the TEA Party folks are concerned?

We hear SO much about how our lifetyle is so unsustainable from the "Green" perspective.  All these Green activists have decided that mere cleaning up the environment is no longer sufficient.  Just like M.A.D.D., who has gone way past their original mission statement to become what some are calling "neo-prohibitionists", they have decided that "behavior modification" of inidividuals is now fair game – and indeed, their calling in life, whether we want them to do so or not (Freedom?  It’s defined, so it seems, as anywhere on the planet being free from any taint of human activity. And they get to set the agenda – so shut up, you knuckedraggers!).

Problem is, if the other kind of "Green" is being spent at such a rate by the other kinds of Progressives that the problems of the first Green will pale in comparison to the other Green":

You want unsustainable?  Trust me – this is it.  And if this insanity doesn’t stop, the first Green won’t matter – because the "first Green" is absolutely dependent on having the "second Green" – only Rich Society’s can afford going green – who else can subsidize the poor as they demand?  Heck, if we go bust, who’ll finance the UN’s taxes to go "World Green"?

No, we cannot blame this all on Obama as it shows that Bush and the Republicans deserve any brickbats stemming from 2000.  However, from 2007 onward, the Dems controlled Congress that actually sets the budget.  We CAN see that given that, Obama has mashed the accelerator down to and then through the floorboard.

Imagine that – for all of Obama’s mouthing of the Green Economy being the future, that we HAVE to get there, his Fiscal Policy is going to render any credible attempt to go Green absolutely impossible.

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
