Well, the radio gig scheduled for Friday early Friday morning didn’t happen. However, the principals behind the show, Jim Sharpe and Samspherian blogger John McJunkin, stopped by and joined other Samspherian Em Zanotti. Then Chris Heneghan from England (via NH) also joined us.
Well, while discussing the the political scene, Nathan Baca from 8 News Now saw that a documentary film crew decided to join us and interview us while I was interviewing the above named folks, so he decided to interview the interviewer that got interviewed (how much more "meta" can you get than this?). Well, the interview last for about 10 minutes and I didn’t think anything more of it, knowing that they were covering both the RightOnline conference at the Venetian as well as the NetRoots (the Progressive onliners) over at the Rio, as I thought I’d be left on the cutting room floor.
I was pleasantly surprised:
Also, Candice that appeared in the clip also sat with us at dinner Friday nite – a spirited gal she was, and a happy warrior!
And yes, I meant what I said!
Sidenote: A note about Chris – he is a journalist that I am labeling "another de Tocqueville" for his interest in the current American political scene, especially the populist movement known as the TEA Party. He and I (and his brother Mike) have been informally meeting at the various political events where our paths cross, and he has been persuaded to submit some posts to the ‘Grok – am looking forward to them!
