CNHT Annual Picnic – An Award and The Pledge

by Skip

Yesterday was the annual Picnic held by CNHT (Coalition of NH Taxpayers), a grassroots organization that works with people at the local town / city level on issues of taxation, representation, education, appraisals – well, almost anything that affects either good governance or hinders the attainment of such.

Also during the CNHT Picnic, there are other activities than just speakers and a LOT of yakking.  In fact, the TEA Party movement here in New Hampshire received an award from the Heritage Foundation.  Ed Naile, Chair of CNHT, accepted the award on behalf of the movement:

Also, two more candidates signed "The Pledge":

  • Jack Kimball, running for NH Governor
  • John Burt, running for the NH House

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
