One czar down, many more to go…

Gangster government loses a member of the "family"

The Wall Street Journal is reporting this morning that the embattled "green jobs czar" Van Jones, an admitted commie, has stepped down from his post in the Obama Administration following the growing hue and cry over his controversial views and statements from the past:

WASHINGTON — An adviser to President Barack Obama resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

Van Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs," has been linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the Sept. 11 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

Mr. Jones issued an apology on Thursday. When asked the next day whether Mr. Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Mr. Jones "continues to work in the administration."

Obviously the enormous pushback we have been witnessing against the many moves by the gangster government that is the Obama Administration that fly in the face of long-held American policy and tradition, is being felt.

Sadly, however, while this is great news, it is but one small step. There is much more work to be done in order to completely cage up the ongoing threats to our free market system and our future financial well being. As Skip notes in this prior post, there are some 32 or so "czars" serving Obama, with more on the way. In addition to rooting out bad actors like Jones, the entire process, which is skewing our system of checks and balances by circumventing Senate confirmation hearings, needs to be ended altogether.

When contemplating these events, just imagine it being George W Bush instead of Barack Obama. Can you imagine the outcry we would be hearing? Instead, we have a fawning media that stands by and practically cheers. Oh well. Today is a win for the good guys. You know… America
