Guilty!
So I’m reading Leslie Carbone’s blog post about a Howard Dean Town Hall event where local members of the DNC’s Organizing For America group were encouraged to attend in an email note. Included was the information regarding where it was and what time to be there.
"Please arrive as early as possible to the town hall, and make sure that the most powerful voices in this debate are those calling for real reform, not angrily clamoring for the status quo," the message pleads.
Too bad it had the incorrect information as to the actual time of the event, getting it wrong by showing a start time an hour EARLIER that had been previously publicly announced. Oops! Sorry mistake…
Or was it? What better way to make sure that all the people in line to get the first-come, first served seats? Surely it was a mistake. It must be an easy one to make, because it appears the same one’s been made by OFA with regards to Carol Shea Porter’s Town Halls this Saturday!
In an email to OFA supporters, they are told the following:
Friend —
I wanted to send you an urgent invitation to two important health care town halls with Rep. Carol Shea-Porter this Saturday, August 29th.
She’ll be talking to constituents and gathering feedback. Whether you ask a question or show your support with a sign, attending this meeting is a powerful way to show where you stand and thank those in Congress who are fighting for reform.
I hope you can join us in Manchester or in Portsmouth.

Please arrive as early as possible, and make sure that the most powerful voices in this debate are those calling for real reform, not angrily clamoring for the status quo.
Heh. There’s only one problem… THEY GOT THE TIME WRONG, TOO! Click here for what has been publicly known for several days, now. Notice anything?
Sorry Carol…
BAGGED!!
